All the STIFERITE range of products, ISOCANALE SYSTEM included, comes from an unceasing striving for a greater sustainability, which ensures a low environmental impact and implies strict health and safety controls. In this way we aim to ensure the protection of people and environment’s health.
As evidence of the attention given to sustainability, STIFERITE awarded the international certification EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), developed with the employment of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) evaluation, and validated by the renowned environmental certification body IBU (Institut Bauen and Umwelt e.V.).
The study shows the limited consumption of resources and the low environmental impact of the whole supply chain. These data can be used to demonstrate that in a building realized with our panels, the use of resources for their manufacturing itself, is already paid back in the first years of operation of the heating or cooling system alone.
Thanks to the ISOCANALE SYSTEM high insulating performances and mechanical characteristics, it is possible to reduce the employment of material for the construction of ducts for air transport.
In order to facilitate the sustainable and environmental friendly design, STIFERITE joined the voluntary environmental sustainability label, set up by ANPE (National Association of Rigid Polyurethane Foam), which aims to raise the awareness on this topic and to spread relevant information for companies in the industry.
Furthermore STIFERITE carried out the insulating panels LEED mapping, according to the version 4 of the protocol, thereby assuring the compliance of its products with the required qualifications for the construction of sustainable buildings.
Our products also comply with the CAM standards (Minimal Environmental Criteria), which do not allow the employment of raw materials harmful to health and/or environment and envisages the measurement of recycled material percentages in the products, certified though the product brand ReMade in Italy.
In addition to the environmental rewards, STIFERITE also boasts several corporate and product certifications, which guarantee quality and safety throughout all the manufacturing processes.
