Our panel is made of polyiso foam coated with centesimal aluminium on both sides, and it was developed by Stiferite specifically for the construction of pre-insulated ducts for air transport. Manufactured with the standard dimensions of 1200 x 4000 mm, it is available in a wide range according to the foam density, thickness and aluminium finishing which determine its final application. The main intended uses are in the context of civil, industrial and medical buildings.
The closed-cell PIR rigid foam, combined with aluminium, allows to achieve the best performances necessary for the construction of a duct for air transport. Maximum thermal insulation, in both winter and summer, to save energy and reduce pollution. Complete impermeability against water and steam, for long-lasting performances. Extensive workability and foam stability, to quickly realize air ducts without compromising their quality. Extreme lightness, less than 1 Kg/sqm, for the ease of transport and the seismic design. Excellent fire behavior, because safety never comes last.
The ISOCANALE SYSTEM has a significant range of panels in order to meet all the technical design requirements. In particular:
UNI EN 13165. Rigid expanded polyurethane (PU) panels manufactured in our plant not only respect this norm, but from 2003 the CE-marked label is in all STIFERITE ISOCANALE packages of panels. The norm (annex ZA) assures the performances of thermal conductivity and resistance, fire reaction and compressive strength. Other requirements can vary according to the regulations in force in each state. Furthermore, other requirements can be comprehensively expressed or indicated by acronyms and performances levels can be stated by the Designation Code. Finally, our labels always come with the production batch.
CEE norms are very strict, therefore they are considered perfectly effective in those countries where a precise norm for this product does not exist.
