Polyiso Panels

Polyiso (PIR) foam panels are en evolution of traditional polyurethane panels, based on a different ratio among the main raw material, and on significant plant innovations. PIR foam is mainly distinguished by the highest number of chemical links and the wider curing with high stabilization energy. These characteristics form macromolecules made of stronger chemical links, compared to the polyurethane ones.
All the STIFERITE insulation products, including ISOCANALE brand, are made of polyiso foam.

PIR foam advantages

Advantages of PIR foams are several:

Mechanical performances, such as compressive and bending strength, and ease of cutting;

Excellent dimensional stability;

Great fire reaction performances;

Water resistance;

Dampening effect;

Resistance to solvents;

UV rays and oxidation resistance.

Furthermore, thanks to the very low production impact, PIR foam have an high environmental sustainability.

They are specific panels for the construction of ducts for air transport, designed and manufactured in different types, to meet all the application needs.

The characteristics of the ISOCANALE range are:

Coating thickness in aluminium, 60-80-200 micron m;

Coating finishing in aluminium, smooth, embossed, antimicrobic and anticorrosive;

Polyiso foam density: from 35 to 45 Kg/mc;

Polyiso panel thickness: 20 or 30 mm.
